A lot of companies require you be mentored in with an experienced Agent on certain transactions. It does take a lifetime to learn. You get better and better which explains the stat that most Agents are an average of fifty years old. The rules of the game are that this is a lifetime career to really excel!

There have been a couple of posts written about "playing" the game of real estate. The rules are pretty simple.

It takes a few weeks to complete the classes, pass the exam, sign up with a broker, pay a bunch of money, print your business cards and be ready to sell property...or play

The same is true when a person graduates from medical school and passes the medical boards. They are called Doctor! Would you want to be the first surgical patient for your child or loved one?
Both doctors and agents know the rules because they studied, passed the test and have a license.
It is so much like the game of poker which only takes a few minutes to learn the rules but an entire lifetime to master the game.
