My Favorite App: Scanner Pro

My favorite app remains Evernote this year, too, This app catches my attention. I use Genius Scan but would like to compare to this Scanner Pro app. It sounds like it takes large scanned prints clearly. What are your favorite apps? The Active Rain App Contest will be interesting to follow this month.

My Favorite App: Scanner Pro

I love Scanner Pro because it turns a photo of a document into a PDF file that can be opened by just about anyone! It is a TIME SAVER!

During a listing appointment a seller gave me a copy of their last quarterly septic inspection. He told me that I could take it to the office to copy it and he would get the original back later. No worries..... I have Scanner Pro!!

©JoniStaplesI whipped out my iPhone and did the following steps:

1.Tap on Scanner Pro

2.Tap on the camera icon & shoot a photo of the document.

3.Tap on select all

4.Tap on next

5.Tap on save

6.Tap on the email icon

7.Enter email address,

8.Tap on send.

NOTE: At step 6, instead of tapping on the email icon, you can also tap on the forward icon (box with arrow), the next box that pops up gives you the option to Print, FAX, add password, open EchoSign or Docusign, or Upload to Dropbox, Evernote or Google Docs.

I emailed the doc to myself and left the original with the seller.  ☺ Seller's love TECH SAVVY Agents! :)

On another day, I had a buyer that had a question about some lines that were on his copy of a plat. Our office has a HUGE plat book. No more dragging it to the copier and making several attempts to copy the right spot. I just opened up Scanner Pro, shot a photo of the lot, and emailed a perfectly clear pdf file right over to him. I can also email them to myself to upload to MLS for each of my listings. This little app is a TIME SAVER!!

My husband has a pest control business, so I told him about scanner pro. He uses it to email termite inspections along with the invoice to his clients. No more turning on the computer, copying the invoice so that it can be scanned in with the inspection (its small, not letter size paper), then scanning the two items in to the computer, and finally emailing it to the client.  With Scanner Pro, the entire process is complete before the computer would have even finished opening up and connecting to the wifi. We love Scanner Pro!
