This is interesting! I also am interested in learning more about the Microsoft Storage Program. I figure one Office 2013 in unveiled, this will get lots more attention. I also use Box. It has an iPad app along with Dropbox and Google Drive.
I love using DrobBox for my personal online Storage and I love using Google Drive for my business online storage, but I have just found SurDoc and for 100GB free storage It migh be a great tool for both.
DrobBox offers 2GB free and gives you opportunities to increase you free account up to 18GB. Other wise you can buy different plans up to $500GB for $49.99/mth. I have built up my free account to 7.4GB which has priven fine for my personal use.
For the business I needed much more space plus a format that lent itself more towards collaboration. Google Drive offers 5GB for free, and while there is no way to increase that for free, their paid tiers are much more reasonable (from 25GB for $2.49/mth to 1TB for $49.99/mth)
Now comes SurDoc. If you go to their main website they advertise 10GB for free. If you go to their Pinterest or Twitter feed they are offering 50GB for free. But I have found that if you sign up via their andriod mobile app, they will give you an account with 100GB for free storage space!!! I tried it this morning & it worked.
I have not yet tried SurDoc to be able to review its pros & cons yet. But for 100GB of free online storage you can bet I will be spending 2013 learning what all it can do to help me back up my files.
If anyone else has tried SurDoc already, let me know what you think.
