Here s a quick summary! Visit to see a side by side comparison.

For roughly forty extra dollars you can also do an external hard drive.

Plop on another forty and you can get your data retrieved via courier.

The big deal, though, is being able to see all your files on the iPad with a couple of swipes on the screen.

Now that is the coolest thing I have seen!

No matter what you do, the most important thing is to back up your data.

I just love all your tech news flashes and then add them to my list. As for iPad I am still learning as I hunt and peck on the screen. Sometime I will be as fast as a clipper ship.

Carbonite has put my mind at ease for the last few years.  All you have to do is lose everything one time to realize how important back-up is!

Cheryl....I have used Carbonite for years & have also had to use it to restore my files & it worked great.  I was so excited to find the iPad app for it!! I use it all the time to pull up documents that were on my hard drive.  In fact, I used it just today!

Cheryl, I don't have an iPad yet, but it's on my "to get" list. This sounds like a great program to use.

Are you SERIOUS???????   I am guessing you mean that if you use a MAC you can see your files on the IPAD - not using a PC - as the files would have to go thru a conversion, no?
