How to Create a Banner Using Picnik
(Ask and you shall receive ☺)
1. Go to www.Picnik.com and create and open your account.
2. Upload, edit, and save the photos that you wish to use. (Auto adjust, etc).
3. Click on Collage4. On the Left Menu, Select the collage you like. I chose the bottom left one.5. Edit the collage to the desired look.♥ I left the Spacing between the photos at the default of 10
♥ Adjusted the Color from a grey to black
♥ Made the square boxes more of a rectangular shape (Proportions)
♥ Elected not to get Kookie with the banner (make the boxes turn in different directions.)
♥ Left the edges of the photos square. You can give them a rounded edge with this tool. (Roundness)
♥ Went from 4 boxes (Columns) to 3.
♥ Left the number of rows as 1 since this IS a banner! Two would be too busy!
6. Click on Upload Photos and reload the photos you edited in step 2. They will appear at the bottom left of your collage.
7. Drag the photos into the collage. If your photos do not line up well, you may have to select a different photo or edit the original photo (crop, etc) to make things line up better. Once you get the desired look...8. Click on Done at the top right of your toolbar
* Here’s the kicker. Your AR banner must be 960x130.
9. After you click on Done, you will automaticall be brought to the Basic Edit Screen. To make your banner 960x130, click on crop. Select the Scale Photo box and type 960 and 130 in the boxes. A crop box will pop up on your collage. You can drag the corners to size, and move the box around on the collage to get the desired look. CLICK ON APPLY.

If I were going to put this in my AR blog, I would go to my AR profile page and click on ActiveRain (Customize).
