Ten Internet Places to Prospect, Brand, and Sell Your Real Estate Services Online

There is a worldwide web of opportunity for real estate professionals who are serious about cultivating and closing new business from online venues.  While some prefer to do busywork without a focus be the professional that maneuvers around their idle vehicles and takes the path that leads to the money work.

Here are Ten Internet Places to Prospect, Brand, and Sell your Real Estate Services Online

1. Question and Answer websites

Question and answer websites have received triple digit growth and are widely popular among females and Generation X consumers.  Hop on board the inquisitive (i.e. lead generation) train and answer real estate questions where consumers ask online.

2.  Call to Action in your Blog Posts
Don't ass-u-me that your blog readers will call you, email you, or visit your website without a clear direction or invitation to do so.  You need to direct your blog's traffic by including strong call to actions on each and every blog post your write, whether you are targeting real estate consumers or real estate professionals.

3.  Discussion Forums

Online productivity is a two way street where people have real interactions that can lead to sales transactions.  Don't miss out.  Visit and join the online discussion forums where conversations are active online.  Your brand will become visible the more you make yourself accessible to real estate buyers and sellers who are seeking a good dialogue.

4.  Facebook "like" Pages

Create your fan "like" page(s) on Facebook using your brand name and smart keywords associated with your local real estate market/niche markets.  Launch contests, advertise your listings, syndicate your blog, inform buyers and sellers of current real estate trends, and offer your real estate services.

5.  Syndication of Real Estate Listings

According to Hitwise,"Visits to classified websites rose 84 percent in one year, rising fastest between December 2008 and February 2009".  Can you smell the sales opportunity?
Use an online classified flyer service to syndicate your real estate listings online and be in front of your target market.

6.  Announcements in Your Blog Posts

Use Google alerts to keep track of real estate news.  Announce the latest real estate news on your blog and help real estate consumers to determine how this can effect their real estate situation.

7.  Microblogging

Use Twitter to find home buyers and real estate sellers in your town, to syndicate your blog posts, and to let people know who you are and that you are ready, willing and able to help them with their real estate needs.

8 List Building

List building is an essential online sales tactic.  The more interested parties you can collect contact information from the more prospects you have in your pipeline to brand your name and sell your services to consistently.  The money is in the list so collect that contact information via E-Newsletters, YouTube Subscriptions, Blog Subscriptions, and Podcast Subscriptions E-zines, and E-Books.

9.  Micro Websites

If you're marketing more than one real estate niche consider investing in some additional Internet real estate space by creating micro websites that have information on each niche.  Your target markets will appreciate being able to find information pertinent to their needs without having to dig through the pages of a larger multi-purpose website  Don't forget to market your micro websites once you have created them.

10. Referrals

Let your fellow real estate and business professionals know that you are happy to help and willing to accept their referrals.  Let them know how you will take care of their clients and what your follow-up process is (a big selling point as so many professionals seem to be lacking good referral skills).  Shout it out on Twitter, your blog, and a B2B network like LinkedIn.

Use these ten online places to create a winning strategy to prospect, brand, and sell your real estate services online.
