I Won't Commit To One Agent I'll Work With Whoever Finds Me A Home

Commitment and Trust and Time Investment all go hand in hand. It is like one person being at the Engaged Stage while the other is at the date around stage. When it comes to a Business Decision and the allocation of time, or an asset, wise choices have to be made. 45 minutes becomes a third of a work day when travel and preparation time are included.

I Won't Commit To One Agent I'll Work With Whoever Finds Me A Home

Dear prospective San Jose Home Buyer: If you won't commit to work with me then why would I want to work for you?  The answser is: I don't.

I spent 45 minutes of my time consulating with you.  As I explained, my focus is solely on client service and satisfaction.  I do not take on more business than I can manage. To do so would be a dis-service to my clients. I’m not about volume. My business today is largely comprised of repeat business from past clients and referrals.

You mentioned that you are not happy with the agent you have been working with. That agent really isn't doing anything for you. You find a property online and ask that agent for a showing. Your wife was out yesterday with another agent viewing properties.

You stated that you would work with whoever found you the right home.  If I found the right home you would work with me.

I know how much work and time would go into finding and securing your home in a very specific area.

It would be a bad business decision for me to spend that amount of time and effort with no commitment on behalf of a prospective client. Frankly, it would not be the highest and best use of my time.

As much as I would like to help you and your family, my business model dictates that I work exclusively with clients who commit to work exclusively with me. As a San Jose real estate agent I work solely on commission.  I am paid only when I close on the sale of a San Jose home for sale.

I do not tie people to a contract.  The relationship is built on trust.  If clients feel I am not serving their needs to their satisfaction they know they can simply fire me. That’s never happened in the nearly 11 years I have been in the business.

I wish you all the best.  If you find your strategy of working with several agents simply does not work out and you would like to allow me the opportunity to serve you, please let me know.  If I can take on a new client at that time I would be happy to reconsider serving you.
