Selling Your Home Is A Lot Like Selling Your Car

I have often thought of this parallel that selling a home is akin to selling a car. You shine it up. You remove the trash. You spiff up this and that. You clean it up. You just don't slap it on the market. You give it a good detail job and run it through inspection. Sound familiar?

Whether you decide to place an ad to sell your car or trade it in with a dealer I am certain you will make every effort to have it look its' best - I know we do.

That same strategy should apply to the sale of your home.  Its' appearance is only one of many factors that influence a purchaser's decision.  When you enhance your home's appearance you increase your home's marketability.

Now that homes are offered for sale on the internet with many interior photos its' appearance becomes a major consideration at the outset.  If it doesn't have its' "best foot forward" a prospect may not include it in the group to visit.

The internet has given birth to a new real estate marketing industry - home staging professionals.

A home stager will tour your home and make recommendations that can be as simple rearranging or differing levels of expense to accomplish the result.  The photos below were provided by The Staging Fashonista and highlight the benefit of simple rearranging and the addition of a few complementary items.

My Action Plan to sell your home includes the consultation services of a home stager.

As soon as we have a signed listing agreement for me to market your home I wll arrange for Mannie Tantawy, owner of

The Staging Fashionista

to tour your home with you and provide 1.5 hours of her broad staging experience.   A visit to her website will convince you that you will benefit from her recommendations.
